In 2014 she played in 26 matches, making 20 starts… Posted 129 kills to average 1.59 per set… Third on the team with 61 total blocks, chipping in 53 assists… Season high of 13 kills to go with a .632 hitting percentage at Catawba (10/4)… Career high eight total blocks, three solo and five assists, versus Catawba (11/1). In 2013 she played in all 31 matches, starting 30… Second on the team with a .243 hitting percentage… Averaged 1.70 kills per set with 196 kills… Recorded 90 total blocks, 17 solo (fourth in SAC) and 73 assists… Career high 18 kills against Anderson (11/12)… Season high seven total blocks at Brevard (9/24). In 2012 she played in 26 matches as a freshman with three starts… Averaged 0.57 kills per set with 25 total kills…  16 total blocks… Season best of eight kills vs. Lander (9/4), when she hit .417.
Prior to Newberry at John B. Connally High School, Alexus played four years of volleyball for Coach
Ruxton Williamson..  Was first team all-district as a senior and second team all-district as a junior,
earning first team all-academic honors in both seasons… Played her club ball with Austin Juniors…
Played with Austin Juniors at the 2012 USA Volleyball Junior National Championships.
